Apple used some pins for their adc stuff that were originally unassigned on the AGP connector. They were used on 8x AGP which is why you have to tape em off.

I swear I was reading about someone doing something along this lines a little while ago in a G5 or something I can't seem to find the article or post, though. I don't think that's a PCI slot in the Cube, though. Just because it looks the same DOESN't mean it is. You're probably out of luck...

When in doubt, use Hypercard. It'll probably need an external for restarting though. I don't Hypercard could do that on its own.

Does anyone know of a way to force a resolution (such as 1024x768) on my 475? I just have a dumb Mac-to-Vga adapter with no sense settings at the moment. Gonna get the adjustable one soon, though.

Just had to try it, wouldnt boot on maximum on my 475 with 7.5.5. It just freezes on the finder.

I believe they'll run with EDO but won't get any benefit from it.

That's a Dual Display Twin Turbo. They did make one. I've only ever seen one on eBay once. You can tell from the different vram layout, I think it was a later card than the Twin Turbos. Sadly, a lot of early 3d accelerators were just 2D cards with 3D features sort of tacked on.

Finally got Opencore updated and finally going to move to Ventura.

From what I'm reading, only the Sonnet L2 upgrades didn't require a second boot to work.
