    TiBook Fan Noise normal?

    Thanks guys. I guess the noise I'm experiencing is pretty normal then. Not sure why my fan turns on at boot, though. I was also thinking of applying new thermal paste, so maybe I'll try it just to do some maintenance on the unit anyway.

    12in AlBook fan is as loud as a MDD

    Is it a TiBook, too? Mine also has a bit of fan noise, but I don't think it's full-blast, but I could be wrong. I just got it and noticed the fan noise right away, from boot and under both a clean OS9 and 10.5.8 as well.

    TiBook Fan Noise normal?

    Hi all, I just picked up a used TiBook 1GHz to relive my old OS9 glory days. The unit is fully functional and I loaded up OS9.2.2 and everything runs smoothly. The only issue is that it has a lot of fan noise, but I am not sure if it is normal or not. I haven't owned one of these in forever so...
