Here you go!  This is the schematic I used.  It was the same as the original but I had to use 1K resistors. IC Power connections are assumed. You need to connect 5v to the 5VSB line of your PSU.

I was thinking about the external idea, but that many wires would be annoying to run.

Probably not, because they are all balanced to each other, so they should have about the same capacity.  You would be better off getting a used, but newer laptop battery and ripping that apart.

Now we just need someone to make the NuBus adapter work in the SE/30.  What ever happened to that effort?

I just had an idea.  If someone can get the IIsi's NuBus adapter working in the SE/30, you could build a thing that goes on the back and holds the adapter as well as a Radius Rocket.  That would be one blisteringly fast SE/30. Also, you could call it a JetPack for added awesomeness.

They are actually just snapped together, meaning they aren't hard to rebuild. 8-Bit Guy has a toutorial on it

The Service source for the 520 tells you how to get to the PRAM Battery.

I have the original working LoBo, no worries there!

If I try to install any version of System 7 on my newly LC520-ified CC, it says it isn't compatible.  I have tried custom install, and that just makes a mess by installing everything.

Try the other Analog board.  That sounds more like a power issue then a logic issue.
