try lifting the kbd up, and disconnecting the internal battery. the psu is compatible.

for driverguide, just download by viewing a series of ads, and just hit no thanks on them, it takes only a few minutes

i used to have a thinkpad i1400, they are good machines, and can take up to 256mb ram. the hd is a PITA to get to tho

Well, i struck a deal with a fellow mla'er, sawtoothdude, and paid $10 for a 540c with a 520's processor (25mhz), but the 33mhz processor came with it, also a video and aaui adapter. It also came with 15 batteries!!! It's a really cool little machine. Right now, i'm looking for a new bottom...

I agree its absolutely absurd! every update to the iPhone is free while we have to pay for them all! I wouldn't be suprised if somebody sues apple over the idea. its like iPod users are inferior or something.
