@djc6 Just FYI: a little bit goes a long way. It's also very brittle. You may be tempted to straighten the solder out before using, but be careful.

Applying some fresh leaded solder will lower the melting point. Alternatively as @superjer2000 mentioned, some low melt solder will make quick work of stubborn spots. Especially if they're attached to the ground plane. You just need to be extra careful and make sure to remove all the low melt...

@zigzagjoe Would it be possible to add a jumper for flipping the vertical? There could be similarly specced LCDs with different viewing angles that might work better for some people, but not others. For example: what if you have two ZFP drives that keep your Mac at a higher angle?

@jmacz I don't know why, but I really like the support brackets. Makes it look more "premium." Like if Apple had done it originally, you'd 've thought their engineers went out of their way to make sure all the SIMMs and batteries stay put no matter what.

Found an eBay auction for a "working pull." I messaged the seller on the off chance they might still have the computer. Maybe copy the software. I really doubt it'll pan out, but who knows.

That's pretty similar to the HyperDrive. Cool looking upgrade. Hopefully when you get it working it'll boot with the funny Monster Mac instead of the Happy Mac. :)

What's the point of the ground being in a grid like that? Does it double as an RF shield?

Just curious about the Golden Master releases. If I have, for example, a System 7.5 GM CD, will the 7.5.3 and/or 7.5.5 Updates recognize them and update them? Or are the GM releases sort of islands on their own as a developer release?

I think it was purpose-built for Apple Internet Router and/or AppleShare IP.
