    THINK C app skeleton

Good one - well if it's running then I think you'll be OK with the 32 but addressing. I think I was using a much older version of Think C... I now use Retro68, which allows me to write and compile Mac apps on my Windows 10 PC using my favourite IDE - Visual Studio. I've been teaching myself...

    THINK C app skeleton

I'm unsure about an app skeleton - but perhaps your issue is due to 32-bit addressing being enabled? I've had issues with THINK C not working properly when 32-bit addressing is enabled.

Cloud storage in System 7: A workaround

Great job. I've been having a bit of coding fun lately getting my really old macs to connect to modern web services, and writing a native 68k Dropbox and/or OneDrive client is on my todo list. Modern web API's are quite well suited to older macs because they are so lightweight. I've got my...

Help needed with SE/30, Daystar Turbo + Ethernet Card

Thanks for your reply. With the original ROM in the Daystar, Yes the accelerator works without the ethernet card but only if 32-bit addressing is also disabled. The ethernet card has an FPU socket, but no FPU installed. One other factor I forgot to mention is I'm using a IIsi ROM in the SE/30...

Help needed with SE/30, Daystar Turbo + Ethernet Card

I finally had some spare time over the holiday break to upgrade the ROM on my Daystar card to the latest 4.1.1. The upgrade seemed to go successfully - but alas things went from bad to worse on my Mac. With the new ROM, I now get Bus errors on startup - if I boot with extensions off then it...

Adding Wi-Fi to my Mac SE/30

Sorry I missed this reply - I checked the web interface on the Wifi module, but alas there is no WPA2-Enterprise support.

My brand new SE/30 front case

It's literally brand new in the box! An unused spare part. I can't wait to put this on my (yellow and scratched) SE/30. All I need to do is permanently keep it in a windowless room and it'll be good forever haha!

    MacTCP.h compilation problem

I recently pulled together some MacTCP helper functions which compiles on Retro68: https://github.com/antscode/MacTCPHelper

Building First Mozilla for PPC (and maybe eventually 68k)

I've ported a TLS 1.2 library to run off MacTCP which might be useful for your project: https://github.com/antscode/mbedtls-Mac-68k

Airport Express - wifi bridge to ethernet

Awesome job. This is particularly cool because I presume that the Airport Express supports AppleTalk networking?

Adding Wi-Fi to my Mac SE/30

Trash80toHP_Mini I think you could fashion an antenna out of some copper wire, copper sheet or something similar. Even when there is no antenna plugged into the wifi module, it still gets reception (when out in the open air and not inside my Mac). I've seen a heap of AAUI transceivers on eBay...

Help needed with SE/30, Daystar Turbo + Ethernet Card

trag you're spot on. I now see that the resulting binary file was 512kb based on the settings for an AT27040 which isn't right. So perhaps the chip is an AT27010 - when I read the ROM I now get a 128kb file. Anyway, the new chip I've ordered is 1mbit so hopefully I'll have some success. Thanks.

Help needed with SE/30, Daystar Turbo + Ethernet Card

Small update - I finally got my hands on a Programmer and I was able to backup my original Daystar ROM Chip. But when attempting to upgrade the ROM to the latest 4.1.1 version, I was unable because it turns out the the chip is an EPROM and not an EEPROM! (i.e. it's a single-write chip). A...

Adding Wi-Fi to my Mac Colour Classic

Thanks kerobaros. The back panel was salvaged from the same LC 575 as the motherboard - I shaped it to size using a Dremel and some sandpaper.

Adding Wi-Fi to my Mac SE/30

Thanks so much for the link jhorvath911. I've been painstakingly teaching myself write classic 68k apps over the last few months. I've finally got some basic HTTP communication happening using the Open Transport libraries, but a long way off having something as polished as what bbraun has...

Adding Wi-Fi to my Mac Colour Classic

Byrd, anything TCP/IP works without a hitch between the Macs - but my initial testing of AppleTalk has been a fail. I believe the issue is related to my Telstra router not forwarding the extra packets that AppleTalk uses. I've blown my Mac budget for this month, but next month I might try...

Adding Wi-Fi to my Mac Colour Classic

Since my SE/30 Wi-Fi Mod was somewhat successful, I decided to apply a similar technique to my Colour Classic (I’m not a total Mac hoarder, I only have these two!). Here’s the result:     (my Colour Classic is a Mystic with a 575 logic board, but this technique should also work on a stock...

Wow this is really cool, awesome job. The benefits of a Colour Classic but with true classic mac styling. How does it look from the front?
