    SE/30, IIfx ROM

    Can you swap the ROM chip and make the SE/30 run right off without doing some modification? Or is it require that you reformat the hard drive and fresh install the OS as soon as the IIfx ROM is in place?

    If you were to buy a Mac SE/30, is it better to get one with everything original inside than the souped up one? (such as IIsi ROM, hard drive, old capacitors, etc)?

    If you were to get a Mac SE/30 and replace the old internal 20MB HD, what would be the maximum capacity a SE/30 can take? Is 500MB too much or too little? If you were to replace the original ROM with a IIfx ROM, can I opt for even larger hard drive? Thanks
