I downloaded it succesfully, but it is a 1,5 mb, so I did this
dd if=archivo.image of=/dev/fda0 bs=84 skip=1
in order to copy it onto a floppy to later tranfer to the Classic.
This is what it shows the Classic when I insert the disk.
So, how do I transfer this 1,474 kb file on to a 1,448 kb...
--Both of them? 8-o
---Is it supposed to run even on 68000 Macintosh Classic?
Edit: According to this, it is not. So another option will have to be researched.... :-/ :-/
Thanks for the quick replies.... [:)] ]'>
If I try to unstuff with Stuffit and get the message:
Sorry, a system error happened. «Stuffit Expander address error.»
The Stuffit version I am using is 4.0.1.
This is the file I am trying to expand.
Any idea of what is going on? Google did not help on this very much... :'(
Thanks for a...
Check solution 3 here
Anyway I shouldn't theorize. Just will open the Classic and see what can be done....
--Perfect, Dennis. Will check that tomorrow Monday and will keep posting.
Thanks for the reply! [:)] ]'> [:)] ]'>
---No «bong». According to the repairing mac link I posted before, it seems to be (copy-paste):
---As for the Torx screw-driver, no problem. I found out I have got the perfect one. Reaches the handler screws in the upper back of the case pefectly.

What I mean by that, is **not** the Classic is dead showing squares on boot time forever, but only...
This appears on the screen when I turn on the Classic.
This has been happening these last days, but always get solved by leaving the mac unplugged from the mains for a while (often even an hour). Then the Classic used to boot ok.
But last night I left the Classic unplugged and this morning...
---Hmmm....Photoshop 1.0. is supposed to run in a Classic and earlier models, even a Plus. Perhaps what I need is not a newer version from Stuffit, but an older one...maybe Stuffit 1.5.1....am I right?
Thanks in advance.... :beige:
---That was it.
---Thanks for the .pict hint, Wally.
---Perfect. It is **quite more comfortable** to convert to .jpg within the Classic itself instead of a) saving the screenshot on to a floppy in the mac, B) opening linux to transfer the floppy file to the computer and c) opening windows to...
--Let's investigate if Window$$ Photoshop can do it...Photoshop for Macintosh will not run on a Macintosh Classic.

I had already tested that, adding .bmp, .gif, .jpg, .psd, .tif, .pdf and .png to the file name. No way.
It doesn't seem to work.
Which graphics program should I use?
I use linux GiMP, but may test other options as well....
I would like to take screenshots of my Macintosh Classic with system 7.0.1 and then open the images in a PC to, for instance, use them in a blog.
I know there was a keyboard combination that I don't remember now, but the image file created had no extension (simply was «Screen01» with no .gif...
Simply downloading DTools75.zip from the MacGeek Downloads page did the trick.
This lets you create a system disk that boots the Classic with a minimal 7.5 system.
That enables to mount the Cubase2.5.1r3.img automounting file on the desktop (just as Luddite and Leosadvs told) and the program...
Ok, I managed to solve the issue. Cubase is finally running on my Classic. [8D]
68000 with 4 mb RAM and system 7 at least. Though soon I will try to boot it under 6.0.8
