Thanks for the response! The SE's hdd is on death's door at the moment so I'm trying not to run it more than I have to until I can properly back it up. I didn't see any sort of drivers when I was quickly rummaging around in it and there is no pop-up logo on startup like the Radius cards.

Hello all, I recently acquired a Mac SE with a Novy accelerator card in it. I'm a bit of a sucker for CPU upgrades as all of the Mac's I've ever owned minus my 2012 MBP have had some kind of aftermarket CPU add-on to extend their longevity.
I took the board out of the SE and it appears to be...
What would be the best way to connect an ImageWriter II to a Pismo? I've seen Mini Din 8 to USB and Mini Din 8 to Ethernet, but I'm unsure which one I should use if I wanted to print images made in software like Aldus Superpaint or early versions of Photohsop. Which one would work best in OS 9?
Sorry for leaving out some details. The LC II drive and Quadra both have 7.5 installed on them but when both drives are running, I get a Sad Mac (I'll get the code later).
Unfortunately I don't have any bootable media but if that'll alievate my problem I'll download and burn a copy of System 7.
I pulled the internal drive from my dead LC II and plugged it into an external SCSI enclosure I had lying around. Every time I try booting my Quadra 650 with it plugged in, it always tries to boot from the external no matter what combination of keys or number I set the drive on.
I have no...
I'm really digging it too. I used to play with an 840 AV back in my high school's video production lab, but the form factor of the 650 is really nice. It's pretty compact so you can tuck it away pretty much anywhere with proper ventilation and it'll be fine.
Thank you for the reaponses. That ADB to USB is exactly what I'm looking for. I was playing Marathon last night and was amazed that I used to play on old ball mice. I'll definitely get the battery and caps replaced as soon as I can as I believe that is what did my LC II in.
Hah, I remember the resolution jumping. The Sim games are all scalable to the resolution on screen though, so having more resolution on my 24 inch monitor would definitely be a plus.
Hello all, I'm getting back into retro Macs after close to a two decade hiatus.
I used to play a lot of games on my LCII and later Performa 6400 but not everything worked out going from System 7 to 9 / 68k to PPC. Most everything I played back then was 68k to begin with so I figure I should...
