Apple IIgs, 5.25" drive for //c, Joystick

Reading about it, it appears to be big on graphics and sound (bit of a clue in the name I guess). Are there cool graphics or sound apps? Is there anything like .MOD tracker for it?

An MDD of my very own!

that's frightening. Any advice on how to avoid that? What sort of failures, are we talking components? Something maybe a capacitor replacement may prevent??

Apple IIgs, 5.25" drive for //c, Joystick

I was a little baby practically when the Apple II era was in full swing. What kinda things do you do with your Apple IIGS? Is it mostly just a games/nostalgia machine, or a collectible? I'm not judgin, just wondering what sorta things Apple II collectors do with em. Are they networkable...

    CF AztecMonsters have landed

So after dicking around with wire transfer (stupid lousy paypal) I finally have an aztec on its way to me. In order to ensure I have everything I need I thought I'd ask here if I was on the right track. I have two real desires for this adapter: A) To use it in my powermac 7100 as a devoted...

An MDD of my very own!

I finally found one looking around the detritus of my office's storage space. Turns out it was the server of office downstairs until they upgraded earlier this decade. Best part is it's free if I can get the backed up data off it! Should be a piece of cake as it boots into 10.3 no problem...

    the eMate: web or bust

So I managed to actually get my hands on an eMate a while back, and an orinoco wavelan card I managed to get some help from Newton poetry, and geek technique. I've had no problems getting the card recognized, but I can't really figure out how to connect to a network. I open the card info box...

    AppleCD versions and differences

Hey while this is up here; I am having a HELL of a time getting either of two internal SCSI CD-ROMs to work on my 7100/80 running 8.5.1 Both a 600i and an OEM CD Drive fail to load cd's either at startup or when booted. I installed CD Rom Toolkit and even with that driverset the computer...

    G4 Digital Audio PS

I have a problem with the fan in my g4 Quicksilver. It will spool up the fan during sleep at regular intervals. There is a composite vide capture card installed, do you think removing it as you did your SCSI card will remedy this problem? I guess its worth a shot.

    Hydrargyrum - Powermac g4 Dualy-800mhz Questions

I have been playing around with a nice dual 800mhz G4 that was abandoned for what I believe were GPU issues. I managed to swap the video card and everything works great now, but there are some issues that are causing me to wonder at the stability of this girl. •I have successfully installed...

Two Powermacs. But should I keep?

Just for shetz and gigz I decided to get 9.2 and Infini-d running on Mercury (my name for it). Compared to my 7100/80 this thing shreds through rendering (I should hope so). This image took her 10 minutes, it took over an hour on the 7100 and that was with shadow and reflection quality...

Two Powermacs. But should I keep?

Hey guys, DSP is nowhere to be found, someone may have beaten you to it! PSU Is removed and secured, as well as ram and the (I believe) damaged gpu and composite input card. The iMac remains untaken! Looks like shipping is still on you trash ;) !

Two Powermacs. But should I keep?

I have no desire, nor the room, to facilitate an iMac. But would be happy to help someone get their hands on it that want it. They are easily my least favourite Apple design EVAR. :-x

Two Powermacs. But should I keep?

I can certainly grab the PSU out of it and send it to you if you'd like. I'll know more tomorrow when I'm down there. There's also a spotted iMac that won't boot, but there may be some decent bezel if anyone needs any.

Two Powermacs. But should I keep?

Hey fairchild, you're welcome to take a look. Its sitting in that hacker-space interaccess I told you about. Its in their "free-for-all" junk pile so its yours for the taking if you want it.
