I run 7.6.1 on my IIfx, and I have thought about dropping a 50mhz 030 and 68882 in it and maybe overclocking to 60mhz. I'd also like to get some science equipment, some interesting cards and a bigger desk for it.

IIfxs havent dipped below $30 for a long time now, and ram for them seems to sell fast, so i assume that there's some sort of following for them.

possibly a large amount of them are asumed completely dead because in the big case IIs if 1 pram battery is dead they dont show any signs of life.

Who cares? when you can put in up to 128mb on the se/30, and the ram's not on the logic board that's just the amount it shipped with That's because the se/30 has a stronger/thicker internal steel frame than the whimpy classic II does. So? the se/30 can run a wider range of OSs ;)

SE/30 FTW! the mac plus comes in at a close second though.
