    PowerBook Joblot

That's strange, because all of the ones you got in that list, have a logic board shaped like a cleaver (or butchers knife) that may be a newer PB board. also the 140/145/145b/170 boards are the same. That might be a powerbook 180 daughter card now that I had time to look.

    PowerBook Joblot

Which board is unidentified, From what you didn't list I can see a 3.5"-> 2.5" SCSI adapter, and what looks to be a PowerBook logic board, but I can't tell which.

    SCSI2SD Project - anyone interested ?

I think it's because they're interfaced similar to IDE. Since SCSI>IDE is already done, it's probably not too much to carry it over to CF.

    iMac Colored Accessories

I had some a set of tangerine desktop speakers and a tangerine Epson printer. I wish I knew the brand of the speakers, because I wouldn't mind having some of them again. I still have my Imation brand USB floppy drive that is bondi blue and clear white. Also macally made or makes mice that are...

    Macintosh Portable Slot Hackage

This is information on the external floppy port for the compacts/portable. I wonder if it would help answer the question if the Powerbook FDD is electrially compatible. http://support.apple.com/kb/TA48050?viewlocale=en_US http://www.hardwarebook.info/Apple_Macintosh_Internal_Floppy_disk_drive

pic/info request: a color compact that isn't color classic

jt, Now that I think about it, didn't you start to add the back half of a crt housing to the bucket of a compact? I was looking around and couldn't locate the thread, but I think it was an unfinished project. Also, today I picked up a portable Trinitron TV, it's about 5 or 6 inches, but it...

pic/info request: a color compact that isn't color classic

I've often wondered/dreamed/plotted that a color classic inside of a se/30,classic,classic 2 would be the ultimate compact. I don't really like the color classic's aesthetics, but the computer as a whole is great. I wonder what it would take to shoehorn that into another compact's case. I...

    IIfx-ClearLidHack™

Did portrait displays have a tilt or swivel base? All the desktop-oriented PC's we had growing up had the unfortunate monitor sitting atop them. They weren't designed to be used all day long I would imagine. With the time I spend on the computer each day I couldn't imagine having a desktop...

I doubt he's going to set anything on top of it that noise would interfere with, a monitor or such would block the clear portion :b&w:

    macports query

Do you know if the apps that macports is installing, stores the dependency libs in the same repository or are they stored somewhere else? It's possible the repository that it's using for the dependencies is down/outdated or moved/restructured.

If you wear a pair of Jnco jeans you could pretty much fit any external hard drive in the back pockets, maybe even a portrait display... I would have never guessed that was a Hard drive, thats teriffic! It's so little!
