Lisa 2 - Funky analog board

^I still have that IIci! Still works great after I replaced the missing parts. Never did have time to get all of the paint off though. Don't have any clues about the Lisa, but a good way to get off the paint is using Dot 3 (ONLY) brake fluid. It won't harm the plastic at all, and it works very...

Scored a ton of Apple Developer CDs on the cheap!

I took a trip to a Goodwill (non Computer Works) today. I've been extremely lucky in the past at this specific store; I scored a working PB 170 with the 1 GB SCSI HD upgrade for $5 a year ago. I take a look at the rack, and an Apple Developer CD catches my eye. And another, and another... I...

Freezing on startup still is most likely an indicator that shows that you need to regrease the CPU. Be careful though.

    LC Motherboard

I haven't been able to check the lone parts LC that I have; sorry. :( But maybe the motherboard caps leaked while it was in the box. It's certainly possible, given the age of the motherboard. Like U_K said, it's a sign of leaking caps. If I were you, I would give recapping it a shot.

Greatest Tip Shop score EVER!!!!!!!!! Sage iMac DV+!!!

LUCKY! :O :O The Goodwill here has few computer-related things most of the time, but there was one time where I went there, and they had probably 20-30 computers in total. Only Mac there was a PB 170, which I picked up. -J

    LC 475 power issues

Turns out it was a bad HD cable. Replaced it, and it works great. The coolest thing about this is that it's actually a LC II with the official Apple LC 475 upgrade! Thanks everybody! -J

    LC 475 power issues

My newest conquested LC 475 displays some strange problems. It refuses to power up, but with different working power supplies (one from my LC III, which works fine, and one from my LC II, which needs new caps but works great otherwise) it refuses to power up at all, just the (working) PSU...
