I actually have Verizon. I assume it works the same though.
I was actually starting to opt against it because I didn't want to buy anything for the hack and because I read that one can end up with a brick. Uh Uh
But you really got me thinking about this method. I might just go for it but I'll...
Hey guys! Long time, no log on. I scored myself an XBox last week on freecycle. I'm so excited about it because it's my first "good" console. I want to get online with XLink Kai. Halo 2 anyone? I'll gladly host. Got better internet, running at 3 mbps. Dunno about the upload though. Let me know...
:O TiBook... must...get..[thump]
Same thing happened to me when I got a PowerBook G3. I opened it up and asked myself, "What's this?" I pulled it and, ta-da Airport Card!!! I know that lucky feeling.
Thanks!! I got it to work. Now I have to figure out what disks to get for it.
Is there a way to get a disk to act as a hard drive? I was just wondering because you can do that on "Mac-on-a-stick.
EDIT: I DON'T KNOW IF I'M ALLOWED TO DO THIS, BUT I HAVE A WORKING .DSK FILE. IF ANYONE NEEDS IT...
WOW!!! Can it get any better that this?
I have one question, Mini vMac says it can't load my ROM image. I admit that I downloaded it from the web. I do have a Macintosh Classic, but can I extract it's ROM and use it with Mini vMac?
Thanks!
Yes it is, "512 MB 64x64 PC-133 CL2" is what the sticker says. Comes from OWC. i did notice something though. When I put the kerboard back on, it looks like it's poping up from the center. Pictures later, I'm in the middle of doing chores!!!
Thanks!
EDIT: The sticker also reads "58S5HSOO-1GAG...
Tried disconnecting the PRAM the battery, nothing still.
I installed the RAM correctly. I'm still lost!!! I tried checking for things that might be dosconnected, but nothing.
Hey guys, I have recently (2 months ago) aquired 2 Powerbook G3 Pismos. One is 400 MHz the other is 500 Mhz. The 400 has a cracked LCD and it doesn't boot. The 500 has "many missing parts," the LCD is fine, and it doesn't boot.
I took a look at it and tried to replace the "many missing parts"...
Hey guys, I figured it was time for a RAM upgrade for my iMac G5. Will this work?
What about a hard drive? What do you guys suggest?
It would be nice to move up from 521 MB and 80 Gs. Thanks!!!
PS: It's a 17 inch 1.8 GHz iMac G5!
Complete specs: 1.8 Ghz PPC G5, 512 MB RAM, 80 gig HD. I've done nothing to it since buying it, except for the guy at the apple store who inserted the extra 256 stick of RAM.
@ QuadSix50:
Thanks for that. I had the g5 go into the apple store two years ago for the "unclear or distorted...
