OK - this was anticlimatic. I made 6.0.8 on 800K floppies on my Quadra. I installed 6.0.8 on the Plus (it had 6.0.7). Rebooted. I saw my netatalk Appleshare volume right away. So who knows what was on there before. Now just to install this on the other plus and the classic.
