I didn't realize it was- this just came with this SE/30 when I liberated it about 10 years ago. It's the first one I've seen. But I can sometimes see that heavy CPU usage gives some feedback in the screen- I guess it is affecting the PS. Perhaps that needs to get redone as well.

No but I use the 2.5 AztecMonster with a 2GB CF card for by PB180 and it works flawlessly. It's worth it to not have the noise and the chance that the drive will just die with no warning.
