I think you're referring to C6 near UB10 and UB11.  That capacitor is small and is adjacent to UB11.  In the schematic it is labeled SND-R-A/D which means it could be a filter of some sort for the A to D converter for the Right sound channel.  You likely have mono audio on this unit and can't...

Since you have three of the same machine does your known good logic board produce video in this unit that has the horizontal lines?  I think your assumption around the logic board being bad is likely.  Have you checked power supply voltages?

Can you expand on dip switches you mention?  I have an LC475 and can't get video on VGA on my garage LCD.  My first thought is you made selections on your TV to hit 66.7 Hz.  Am I correct?  I don't think I've ever seen dip switches in my LC 475
