yea theres no comm slot nic's for it listed on ebay atm that i could see i also noticed that theres an apple IIe compatibility card that may be able to be used with this 

i dont see any comm cards available for ethernet.... only pds cards and apparently the guy above said that its also compatible with the 6000 series

Elfen your comments totally get at what i was trying to figure out... these people on ebay arent very detail oriented to say the least.

i see alot of them on ebay that say they cannot boot.. do they have some type of ticking timebomb on the caps or something? is recapping the fix? it would be stupid if it was as easy as removing the current battery + booting without it inplace.. still plgged in electrically. thats what your're...

i have fixed this before by copying extensions from mac os 9.2 machine to the 8.6 machine. works for firewire problems aswell.

do yourself a favour + just get an 8500.. the 7000 series radeons are buggy as hell with os 9 whereas the 8500 + 9000 are perfect + never have an issue. i doubt your sawtooth was shipped from the factory wih a 7500...if it was it must have been a custom BTO option? because every other sawtooth...

i just bought a 867mhz quicksilver for 40$ its pretty perky compared to both the g4 450mhz agp + the DP MDD 867mhz (it has 1mb more backside cache then the mdd) cant say im complaining i just need to find a pci card to add serial port to this thing..
