Don't use 16V SOLID Tantalum on SE/30 Motherboards

My last buy I ended up grabbing MLCC caps (10uf 16v) because they were cheaper than tantalums. They are a treat to install. Only real issue is finding caps that will fit the pads, most are seriously tiny. Anything larger than 1210 is prohibitively expensive at the moment.

Mac Classic: Swap analog board with Classic II

I recapped a Classic and Classic II AB recently, and I had low 5V issues on one of them, wavy display issues similar to what's described. It turned out to be PP1, located right in the centre of the board. I removed it, gave it a contact cleaner bath, and reinstalled, totally resolved the problem.

Reverse Engineering the Macintosh LC III Logicboard

Nicely done. The LC III was my first Mac. I've also somehow acquired oodles of orphaned LC III boards over the last year, so this project might be very personally relevant soon.

Reverse Engineering the Macintosh SE PCB & Custom Chips for 1:1 reproduction

I've been following (lurking) this project for a while and decided to create an account to say that this is a really worthwhile effort. I'd love to see similar undertakings for other 68K systems.
