    Mobius 030 + 16MB RAM

Sorry the SE is packed away at the moment, will hopefully have time to dig it out on Sunday. One thing I want to try is the benchmark software (Speedometer various versions) I found in with the disks that I got for the NewLife haul, it was included on their driver disks so people could test...

    Mobius 030 + 16MB RAM

So you have all 16MB and the speed issue is solved? I'll need to try again. I had also planned to experiment with the newlife drivers with my Mobius to see what happens. https://www.savagetaylor.com/2023/01/17/68k-accelerators-newlife-computer-corporation/

    Mac Plus Bridge Machine

I would suggest the 6.0.8 drive image to start with. That will work on your MacPlus even if it only has 1meg of ram. You can use the 7.5.5 image if you know you have 4megs

    Mac Plus Bridge Machine

My guides may help. I have bootable hard drive images you can use with your BlueSCSI that contain the software you need to work with floppy disk images, and guides for how you can add disk images and other files to the hard drive image on your modern system using emulators and other tools...

    Quesse Mac SE '020 accelerator

Hi Phipli do you have a source for the TSI and Quesse relationship? I thought I read that too but forgot to add the link to my site. All I can find is the TSI relationship with Novy https://archive.org/details/bub_gb_ljsEAAAAMBAJ/page/n135/mode/2up?q=Tsi

How to get data from a Classic Mac to a modern USB Mac?

Easiest would be to boot your friend's SE using your FloppyEMU with a bootable HD20 volume image on you FloppyEMU. Then copy any files from the non-booting HD (assuming it mounts). Next, on a modern system, use one of the multiple tools to get the files of the HD20 volume image. I have some...

Any way to write/convert vMac .dsk images to SD using dd?

Easiest way is to use Basilisk II on a modern system and copy the contents of your .DSK file (partition image) to a drive image (that SCSI2SD uses). I have drive images on my site along with guides for using Basilisk II https://www.savagetaylor.com/downloads/downloads-macintosh/

Mount a ZuluSCSI image in MiniVMac

You're right, ZuluSCSI uses drive images, MiniVMac uses volume images. I describe the difference between volume images and drive images on my site, and which emulators work with them, and how to convert between the two https://www.savagetaylor.com/downloads/downloads-macintosh/

Upgrading an SE FDHD to 4 MB doesn´t work

If you haven't seen this guide, it may help https://archive.org/details/apple-memory-guide-may-2000/page/n4/mode/1up, according to it you remove the jumper for 4MB, so when you finally removed it, that's why it worked, so the other memory combos you did were likely fine too.

Does anyone need the Apple Network Server 500/700 Diagnostic Information, Utilities, and Documentation I have?

I will have to check, I think I got some of these in the bin of disks with the NewLife haul. I just used imgburn on my Windows PC to make a .bin file. I find I can't make working copies of bootable Apple HFS CDs using the ISO standard. Haven't gotten around to investigating

Macintosh SE and a HyperCharger '020 Accelerator

Hmm, looks like you were in contact with someone named Michael, I've reached out to Kevin Curran and Doug Macrae. I'm hoping since they are founders they may have kept some nostalgia items the same way Lincoln has for Newlife accelerators. It's a long shot, but worth a try.

Macintosh SE and a HyperCharger '020 Accelerator

So... I did what I've been doing for a lot of accelerators, I dug up some contact names and went on linkedIn. I Just sent a message to Kevin Curran, let's hope for a repeat of my success with Lincoln from NewLife. "GCC was founded in 1981 during the onset of the video game craze. C.E.O...

MacWelt 1994 scans, looking for Formac advertisements

I'm trying to track down some information on the Formac accelerators to add to my list of accelerators. I managed to find some information in the MacWelt magazines from 1993 (German vesion of MacWorld) for most of them, except the LC 475 version that Bolle has cloned. Unfortunately there is...
