I restored this Apple IIc system, and turned it on today for the first time.
Well: it seems to work just fine, but the keyboard doesn't do anything: the reset key nor any other key doesn't react.
Since this is my first Apple IIc, I don't know what to expect and I don't have any floppy disks...
Nice idea, but then you'll need a closed room and a container to take in the liquid. That would be quite an installation.
I'll stay with my method: brush for the cream and sprayer for the moisture: easy and effective.
The monitor was very yellow, almost brown, but this is the result after a...
I don't use plastic foil anymore: the wrinkles you get with foil causes streaks.
Btw: the UV lamp is also drying out the cream, hence the plant sprayer....
My trick is a simple plant sprayer with water.
Every half hour, I spray some water on the parts and I spread it out with a brush just to keep it humid.
Occasionally I have to add some cream, but not much.
That's what I did during the treatment in the sun too, works like a charm (done several...
A friend gave me a complete Apple IIc set with the system, monitor, stand and printer including the boxes (with the foam intact!), manuals and software.
There's no damage, but the plastic is quite yellowed, so I started a whitening treatment with a UV lamp for a change (no much sun atm...)...
When you're use a distilled water bath, do you add a base (ammonia) to it to neutralise the acid?
Water only will not remove the dried acid on the print board that easily. A warm bath is also working much better than a cold one.
After the bad, an air duster can, or even a bicycle air pump...
Clearly a biased opinion...

I had a great time with my Atari STe, but...
Same issue here in the Netherlands falen5...
I bought a complete G4 Cube incl. monitor from the states: the delivery costs were almost as high as the price for the whole set.
But even then, it was way cheaper than everything I've seen in Europe at that time, and thereby in an excellent...
Nice! I didn't recap my CC yet: it's working fine, and the caps don't show traces of leakage (yet).
But I have the required components just in case....
Are you able to run non-widescreen resolutions with the Odroid?
I bought a Odroid U3 a few months ago, for my arcade cabinet project (with a 5:4 resolution flatpanel), but couldn't get a standard 4:3 or 5:4 resolution with it.
The tech guy on the Odroid forum told me there's no fix for that...
