    Suddenly sick Macintosh Plus :(

    So, I've had this little Mac Plus for forever. It's never let me down. I acquired an Apple branded external SCSI hard disk drive (part # M2115) which has a 9gb (yikes!) SCSI hard disk in it, which I successfully partitioned into 8 750mb drives using another old Mac and some excellent software...

    Classic II not holding PRAM data

    I have a nearly immaculate Classic II, which I recapped for sound. (the issue was there before the recap, BTW) I have 3 new, fresh 3.6v PRAM batteries, which were installed to test on 4 other classic Macs, and tested for voltage and work fine on my LC's, IIci's and SE/30. Definitely no battery...
