yes......they open with other players but they won't be added to my itunes.....

It really depends what you want it for..... if its just simple web browsing and music go with the G5.....if you need some apps that can use 2 processors go for the MDD G4...........my 2 cents....hope this helps

I installed itunes 2 on my performa 6200, but when I try to play an mp3 or any file even a CD, itunes crashes and quits... I have 48mb RAM, OS 9.1, 20gb HD. I know this computer has a ppc 603 75mhz processor.... What could be causing itunes to not work?
