Hard drive spin up, blank screen?

One of the things i added to my souped up PowerMac 7300 was a SCSI card and an LVD hard drive, Seagate 80GB@ 10,000RPM . Now this drive takes a bit longer then its original HDD to spin up and i don't think the system likes this. I have to wait for it to spin up and then reset it in order for it...

Hello again. This time i am trying to install a bigger HDD in my G4 tower. It came with a 10gb drive. I cannot get 10.4 to install on there with any other HDD other then the one it came with. I have tried 6 or 7 drives now and the DVD hangs while booting, it either freezes or the spinning wheel...

    SCSI on a G4 Sawtooth

Hello everyone, I have a ton of SCSI 160 and 320 cards and HDDs from dell servers. Would the cards work in my G4 tower? If so OS 9.2 work or would i need OS X? I don't know how picky they are hardware wise. I have various 32bit and 64bit PCI cards. Thanks!
