It has been a year and half, I still can’t get this up. I’m thinking to try to pull out ram on board but looking at the error code which ram should I try? Or is there a way to test on board ram using multimeter?
The analog board that comes with it has shorts and kept blowing fuse, so I bought one. Tried all adjustments on rear of logic board. It seems like a dim CRT itself as it powers up very dim and slowly gets better in few minutes. But still dim
This is a Mac TV, I replaced the analog board with one from LC575 and the CRT is dimmed and color isn’t bright and vibrant. Is this due to the analog board or the CRT (too used)
I’ve tried the settings and they aren’t. Settings as in the analog board adjustments.
I'm better with soldering iron, not air gun. These big caps were soldered using air gun and its my first time using it. My subsequent or infant all other recaps are done with soldering iron and tantalum caps are they are smaller which gives more space to work on. I've recap a PowerBook 180c LCD...
I have tried with ram and without, both gives the same results as well as washing the board.
I’ll be doing tracing from UE8 and the Glue Chip since I’ve googled and some help here.
Will update. Thank you for all the help.
Hi I’ve got an SE30 board that powers up to show this. Before and after recapping shows the same thing. No chime.
Any help? All recap capacitors traced are tested to be fine.
