Picking up some awesome pallets tomorrow

I wonder if they realize that when you put a CRT upside down for a long time, they tend not to work well.

    68kshrine.net wants YOU

Should matter, all the companies who made the games are gone/dead. I bet you can just get the games from the Macintosh garden and post em on your site. Looks like a good site!

Hey guys I am a proud owner of this dude

I need to find one of these, though one with a tray instead of a caddy. I REALLY hate installing Mac OS 7.5 from floppies, it would be great to have ALL the apps I want AND the OS for my PowerBook 180c.

Asanté Ethernet to SCSI - Power adapter question

What browser is that? I can't seem to load up a bunch of sites in MacWeb, WannaBe can't enter text into fields as well as not being able to load sites and Mosaic is slow.

    IDE to CF Drive adapter.

Dealextreme.com has a very good selection of CF to IDE adapters, cheaply too! As someone pointed out in another thread, MicroDrives do have infinite read/write cycles and are quiet.

    Is it an eMac?

    Asante Mini EN/SC 10T

I have scored this wonderful box here from wthww (I can't thank you enough). It works VERY well and looks mighty sturdy. He also threw in a PowerBook SCSI adapter for very little (I LOVE YOU). I might have my PowerBook 180c next to me more for IRC in game or something...

Got Back From a Recycling Event (ATTN: NorthWest MLAers)

Wow, that was a good eye you had there! To bad that it wasn't an event that you could come and walk off with stuff. The PCs are pretty handy as servers and having extra parts around. If more people just put these things in thrift stores when I go to visit them, I will be a happy man.

    PowerBook 180 battery prevents bootup

The freezer trick worked pretty well for me. It charged and ran for 45 seconds to a minute and a half. Though I then bought a new battery from here: http://www.battery-plaza.ca/products.php/205/1 . There is a USA version of the site, I am just Canadian :) .

    Freecycle Conquest: HP LaserJet

Wow! My school had that one for since I remember (I have been at that school for 9-10 years). It was replaced last year with a newer one. Still, when it had toner and enough paper, it was a TANK! I would pick one up if I saw one in a heartbeat!

Networking a Powerbook Duo: serial -> OS X/unix -> internet

I just want to get TCP/IP on there for FTP, IRC, and basic web. What I think is happening is that there is no init string on the iMac.
