In case anyone's interested, I can say that the computer feels faster in different ways when using the LC550 board vs the Presto. It's hard to describe, honestly.

I've already said that it works with the stock (original) board. :p It's just not working with the LC 550 board. ...yeah, they seem pretty nice, as the strongest pizza boxes.  :lc:

It's not that the picture is garbled or blank when using the LC 550 board, it's that the CRT just doesn't turn on. It turns on if I use the Presto in the stock board, and it turns on if I use the LC 550 board without the Presto/with a network PDS card. ...I don't happen to have another machine...
