An SE/30 that has a socketed motherboard is on eBay

But that's it! It's all about the warm fuzzy! Having part of the dream gives one the hope that someday the socketed processor will be found and the board will be ready for it! I wouldn't pay the shipping for this one, but I posted this in case someone lived close and could pick it up locally...

An SE/30 that has a socketed motherboard is on eBay

I made an assumption based on what my understanding of what the socketed CPU looks like from a pic that I saw once but cannot recall where now. Please disregard my post as I am now not sure. I will do some searching and see if I can find the pic. Gary

In case any of y'all are interested. The shipping is high though. Edit: Can someone confirm if this is indeed a socketed CPU? Looks like it is. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=230326391268 Gary

Free and new but probably useless

P.S. I still have our old development box, an ONYX system running UNIX System III. Before shutting it down, you had to boot to a tape and run the command to park the heads. I played lots of rogue on that. Gary

Free and new but probably useless

I made a shell script that would drop the line and call me back so it was on their...

    Performa 6400/200 troubleshooting help needed

Great minds think alike! Having already gone through steps 1 and 2, I pulled the battery, ready for a trip to the local Radio Shack as it tests at 1.2 volts. I'll start over then with the fresh battery. What's the best OS to run on this (or on the 6500, as I got one of those too)? Gary
