Any sound that comes out of it is very distorted, even at low volumes. Grabbed a pair of earbuds, sound is fine through them. I'll link a video of the sound quality. This is at 50% system volume.  And I see that, now that I've taken off the speaker cover*  :) *Which is now being superglued...

I recently acquired a very good condition (cosmetically) 1400c/166 from eBay, and have been playing with it a bit.  The first thing I noticed was when I plugged in the power adapter. I heard some popping, crackling and white noise from the left speaker.  I put in an audio CD to see just how...
