Fortuna has truly smiled upon you!
I hope the void under the Cube base has been packed in, as mishandling in transit can result in the core being ripped/broken from the upper section. Not a pretty site.
Look at an RJ45 wireless bridge:
That way you'll get better connectivity and security. The original Airport card will probably only give you WEP, and basic 64bit under 9.x at that.

closely followed by myself ;)
Finally got the KryoFlux hooked up to my "new" Mac Mini Server, and all is good, works fine.

Sorry it took so long guys.
The pair with the short cable would've come from an iMac, and the longer cable from a PowerMac. The iMac version's short cable keeps the desktop uncluttered by "excess" cable, but makes it painful for use on a PowerMac.
Finding a commercially available extension cable is going to be difficult...

Hurrah!
Did some looking. Looks like Cube USB speakers worked up to 10.6.3. With the 10.6.4 update and they are recognised, but don't do what speakers are supposed to do.
Don't toss the speakers!!!.
I believe that the somewhere in the early releases of 10.6 Cube speakers (probably the USB adapter) stop working. Either try them on a 10.5 system, or earlier, but definitely keep them until you can try them on the Cube.
If they don't work at all, may I ask for...
That's handy to know if you get a MDD that's not packed with 4x512MB, and you want to max the RAM - unfortunately my QS only counts the first 512MB on the SIMM.
60GB SSD for $50, not bad. Plenty of room. I've currently got 10.7.4 running on a 32GB microSD (class10) leaving plenty of room. 10.6.8 & Win7 on the 750GB 7200rpm main HDD.
