Thanks for the response. I am trying icab 2.9.9 as we speak but on launch it gives a type 1 error saying "the application unknown has unexpectedly quit because an error of type 1 occured" . I ha e 32mb RAM with virtual memory enabled, 1024k disk cache, and 32bit addressing turned on.

I received the adapter like you posted and unfortunately it doesn't work well for me. I get constant write errors in the BlueSCSI log that go away when not using the adapter. Guess I'll have to find another method sadly

As I go through this system I'd like to replace the thermal paste if it uses it. But it seems like I saw somewhere that some G4s used thermal pads? Is there a guide for removal of the CPU card and heatsink?

Thank you very much for that. I saw the sticker but am so used to seeing a silk screen part number somewhere on the card that I didn't figure that would actually be it haha. I'll do some research and see if it's worth using or if I should just resell it to buy some other upgrades
