I've tried it with it installed, and not installed. Appears to make no difference. Give me a couple of ticks, and I'll see if I can dig out 7.5.1. Also, it has 264mb ram installed ATM

So to confirm... a) It fully boots with shift held. b) I now do not believe it gets past the Newertechnology/Maxpowr driver extension. c) I do not have a Cache SIMM installed. d) It definitely always crashes at the same point.
