I need help with setting up SCSI2SD in my Mac Color Classic

It's a nice gesture, I appreciate it :) , but I don't think it'll be possible since you live in Australia and I live in Slovakia, so the shipping rates might be expensive.

I need help with setting up SCSI2SD in my Mac Color Classic

It is a priority, true enough, as far as I can predict it should be done next week, since my friend knows a guy who does this kind of computer repairs but the guy haven't responded yet.

I need help with setting up SCSI2SD in my Mac Color Classic

Yeah, I have the latest firmware, the first time I tried to configure SCSI2SD, the SCSI2SD utility gave me an error: "save failed" and after updating the firmware it worked.

I need help with setting up SCSI2SD in my Mac Color Classic

I need help with setting up SCSI2SD in my Mac Color Classic

Interesting... maybe I should try it, but I have no idea how I'm going to be able to put a micro USB cable inside since there's very little space in the CC.

I need help with setting up SCSI2SD in my Mac Color Classic

Apple System 7.5 disk tools diskette. Yeah, it doesn't boot, I need to boot from diskette. Indeed, the only other Mac I have is Mac Plus, which doesn't have internal SCSI bus. not really, but I don't think the power is the problem because Lido recognizes the drive at SCSI 0 but is...

I need help with setting up SCSI2SD in my Mac Color Classic

Since I have Windows I can't work with Mac file types (even though I bought iBook G4 for compatibility, it haven't arrived yet, slovak postal service is very slow). The SD card is formatted to NTFS (when I bought it, there was probably FAT32), maybe I should format it to FAT32...

I need help with setting up SCSI2SD in my Mac Color Classic

I need help with creating HFS volume on the SD card. I bought SCSI2SD to replace dead quantum hard disk in my Mac Color Classic. I used this guide to set up SCSI2SD, but I wasn't able to follow it to the end because I have Windows, but I managed to put Lido on a diskette and when I ran the...

What’s the voltage of hard disk power cable in Mac Color Classic?

Ok, I’m just asking because the recommended voltage on the quantum hard disk was 5V/12V and I didn’t know the voltage of the internal molex power cable, y’know, I just don’t want to burn the circuit on SCSI2SD, but everything is fine since you said that pre-made power cables in the color classic...

What’s the voltage of hard disk power cable in Mac Color Classic?

The quantum hard disk in my color classic died, so I bought a SCSI2SD and was reading some information about it on codesrc.com and there was written that SCSI2SD needs to run on 5V or else the board would break.
