Hello MLAers! We've re-enabled auto-approval for accounts. If you are still waiting on account approval, please check this thread for more information.
It sounds like it could very well be the cable. I assume there's no internal HD to conflict with? Can you make the SCSI ID any higher on the enclosure?
How the Classic's ROM disk image is implemented would probably require dissembling the ROM. I did find the following which sheds a little light on the subject:

Okay, did a quick setup on my computer, and it works great. :D
Just follow the instructions on the extension page. (It goes in the extensions directory of mediawiki, nothing to phpBB is changed.)
Just make sure that "$wgAuth_Config['UseWikiGroup']" is false and...
Cool, the extension requires phpBB3 minimum so it should be able to be implemented right away. I'll go ahead and do a test setup just to make sure it works without a hitch. ;)
Heh, pretty nifty BMOW. :)
Just curious, I know that programmers need to be fluent in several programming languages. But what is your personal favorite?
Wow, that IS a nice Mac! It's extremely rare to find a Mac (especially a 128k) so near completion. Congrats Appleanche!
Don't forget to add your M0001 to the registry. ;) http://www.mac128.com/m0001
Yeah, AFAIK both Classilla and iCab are a bit resource hungry, mostly in ram. (You do have a nice amount for a 8500 though.)
If you go into the forum User CP, Board Preferences, you can change the board style from "prosilver" (the default,) to "subsilver2" (a more HTML4 compliant theme.)...
You are probably looking for something like At Ease or Kid Desk. Kid Desk is like At Ease but gives a much more kid friendly environment.

For some reason I could never get Command-Option-X-O to work while owning a Classic. (I sold it to a member here who's Classic had died.) Maybe it had something to do with not having a clock battery. Eh, I dunno.
That's awesome bigmessowires. :D And what a coincidence, my classic II is showing that screen again. (It does that occasionally, I think the 230MB Drive is dying.)
Watching your progress on the Plus Too is so inspiring. Makes me think about the kind of things I could try when I learn enough...
Well I wasn't interested in it that much. That's why I decided not to get the manuals. But if someone here is wanting them I could go back and get them. ;)
Stopped at some thrift stores today, and came across a box showing a little device similar to a calculator. Reading the words on the box in bold, white letters, "Pocket Computer." "Cool"! I thought, it was marked for only $4. So I opened the box to see what was inside. It had all the manuals...
*Realizes the title says G4 and not G5* Oh, I would have been talking G4s had I seen that properly. (I think the 15" threw me off while I was writing the post.)
Yeah the iMac G4 is very stylish with it's unique design. :) It'd be cool to get one of those too. I remember the commercial where...
Your new Mac's name wouldn't happen to be referring to this would it? Great find. I'd like to get myself an iMac G5, hopefully I will one of these days.
So umm... Which version of phpBB are we running? That way I can run a fresh copy of that version on my computer and see if I can tweak the extension if need be. I'm no professional web programer. But I'll see what (or if) I can do. ;)
Not necessarily, yesterday Mac128.com was down for me. And today it's up. I think it may have something to do with certain DNS servers not always resolving the IP.
Something like this? http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:PHPBB/Users_Integration
Not sure what version of phpbb we're using. But maybe we can either modify this one or find one compatible with our board.
