well on the advice from Hrududu I'm going to be getting the Indigo iMac, a quick check on Mactracker, EveryMac.com and apple-history.com so that there are many more usability options for the Indigo iMac
I keep everyone posted for when I receive it, this is going to be my first iMac :D
yes I am going to use it for things, hopefully I'm going to use it to play some network games, word processing and maybe put some of my iTunes music on it

my teacher has two of the older iMacs. one is a Blondi blue and the other is an indigo, i might be able to find some space in my room to keep it, now I need to convince my parents that i should get it if i do end up getting it, which one should I get? I all ready know the spces on the bondi blue...
I just installed 8.6 on a spare hard drive that I put into my G4 Sawtooth, It now Quad-boots into any of the following:
- Ubuntu 6.10
- Mac OS X 10.1.3
- Mac OS 9.2.2
- Mac OS 8.6.1
I was wondering what everybody thinks of have multiple OS's on there computers
I've been reading about the latest version of mini vmac and it says that there is some support for color if you use a mac II rom.... where can i find a mac II rom?
today i went to start up my powermac G4 and it didn't boot, so i zapped the pram and tried again...no dice. so took it out of my computer and put it in my B&W G3 and it did the same thing.thinking it need to be repaired I booted off of a CD, but it didn't even show up on the desktop!!! and...
I know what you are talking about and some people don't know if the bitten or unbitten are rare. i have see both kinds on ebay and the prices are some what the same (a little more for the unbitten).
well THAT was a challenge......finally got Ubuntu 6.10 installed on a hard drive that i had laying around and stuck it into my Sawtooth so this is what i have running on it:
Mac OS 9.2.2
Mac OS 10.1.3
Ubuntu 6.10
I am wanting to use linux on one for my power macs for a while, what would a good version to run?

G4 Processor running a 450 mhz
12gb hd
1gb of ram
i can't remember the name...but there is an app on the apple site that is a utility that you can set to do certain things at a given time....I'm sure one of them is empty the trash......oh wait here it is: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/system_disk_utilities/mainmenu.html its called MainMenu
