I agree entirely. I wouldn't be where I am today had it not been for my parents encouraging my insatiable curiosity for all things computer/networking growing up.
Well I would hesitate to give a 100% answer without seeing it for myself...
Based on my own memory, and supported by this article: http://chrislawson.net/writing/macdaniel/2k0329.shtml - I believe all Apple-manufactured 1.44MB floppy drives are capable of 800K. I know that Mac OS X has serious...
I remember copying the PC Exchange control panel from a 7.5.x machine to a Mac running 7.0 or 7.1, many moons ago... And it worked. I wonder if that's all it would take? I wish I remembered if it handled long filenames!
Hmmm... Lots of ideas, here are my thoughts so far. What kind of machine are you looking to exchange with? That might help narrow down the best solution. My ideas here are more general.
Possibly - the functionality of each LT-to-Eth device can be different (one-to-one bridge, many-to-many...
According to this (from http://www.vectronicsappleworld.com/profiles/69.html), the keyboard was the customer's choice at that time - they used an Extended II for the official photo shoot, but the customer could have chose any Apple keyboard available at the time.

1. Goo Gone on marks, let soak
2. Rinse/scrub Goo Gone in running hot water with sponge

The man puts huge effort into what has become both a very needed warning and valuable resource, and you whine about clutter?? Whilst yourself offering very little of value??
As far as I'm concerned, the "Caps!" threads should be stickied -- but that's not my call to...

Yeah I'm in the same boat... 40 minute drive (with no traffic) to nowhere near where I need to be, my weekend is packed, and weeknights there's traffic to contend with... Argh!
Hey I saw that ad, want to go since it's nearby but it's out of the way and I have a busy weekend going on... What's left in terms of lizza boxes and beige powermacs? Have they had much interest?
According to several sources (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disk_II#UniDisk_5.25.22_and_Apple_5.25_Drive and Google your way around the rest...), Disk II controllers and Apple 5.25 drive (Or UniDisk 5.25) controllers are completely compatible. Conversion cables exist in both directions...
From my relatively small sample size, having seen the insides of 15-20 SE's, I'd say it's about 50% that are signed. Certainly not "OMG SUPER RARE L@@K STEVE JOBS C-2 AUTOGRAPHED!!!", but special enough that my "I'm keeping this one" SE is signed.
If you have the opportunity to go back for that portrait display, I have a card and 13W3 cable I'm not using - though the cable may not be original Apple...
