Just acquired this Apple II Plus and have no idea where to start diagnosing it.  When plugged in and turned on I hear a repeating squeeky/whiney noise from the power supply.. Where can I find info on re-capping the power supply and anything else I  might need??

haha neither am I, I have a IIgs sitting around but dont want to use it unless I can install GS/OS on it, and I would need either a SCSI card (which seem to run about 200$) or the floppyemu thingy I guess?? I haven't had the time to do the necessary research, but hopefully this year sometime.

does your board look like the one in this thread?? Maybe it had the "official Apple mod" because it had a PCB problem.  Then someone got it and thought it was a crazy mod so took it all off?  Just a thought :D

nice!  Spectre VR is def. one I used to play as a kid when it was released.  I will have to try that.  I am assuming it could be done between a Mac SE / Plus / CC if I wanted to right? Through appletalk? I was planning on trying to get Armor Alley working as well.
