If I remember well, I have upgraded my IIsi to 65 meg by removing 4 32 pins of one meg each. So that kind of card, if easy to find, can give me a good IIgs computer.
Do you know where those can be found?
Is there a site or some-places we can find all those information on special keys or hint that can be used on the IIgs?
Yes, ROM 03 is 1 meg, but I thought that the memory card could be upgraded by changing the chips on it for higher capacity?
Is there a model number associated with this...
I choose both options, and both have the same results... Black and white text. But on the page you sent me, i is noted that the composite port was intended to be B&W only. Maybe that's the explanation, except if anyone can see colors there.
When I plugged it to the Mac II display, I could...
My IIgs have a ROM 03, I suppose that is what you're talking about? From what I saw, the SCSI card has to be plugged into the leftmost slot. I suppose there is no differences between the 2 cards you mention in term of performance, considering the age the the IIgs.
So finally the HS one is not...
Luckily for me :) I find it very expensive, it is almost what I pay for the IIgs all in all, including the shipping, that is!
So, what's missing for me is the original IIgs keyboard and mouse (for the time I use a Mac keyboard) and a display.
The SCSI card would be one of my next shopping...
By the way, to install system 6 for the IIgs, I suppose I need an HD. The guy who sold it to me included an Apple CD 300 and a small SCSI drive, but there no SCSI port on the IIgs, so how could I find a SCSI card for the IIgs?
Thanks
Hi,
I just received a II gs I ordered, and I plugged it to a Mac II era Apple display I have. The II gs does not look to be able to display images correctly on this display.
Is there any specific display requirement for the IIgs?
Thanks
I don't think wally was talking about a phone cord of type RJ11 that string into the wall, but the phone coiled cord that plugged into the handset of the phone itself. This one as the same connector as the Mac 128K keyboard. It is a kind of RJ11 with thinner connector.
That said, I have the...
Hi,
I bought recently a Mac 128K on eBay. I repaired the floppy drive, which was sticked into the greace. It is all booting well. The mouse also is good.
But when I try using the keyboard, it does not work at all.
What can be wrong?
What can I do to validate if the keyboard, the cable or the...
