Hey what is the make/model of that giant printer?
I'm still looking for a working Apple Daisy Wheel printer (And they were GIANT).. I have one but the string broke and it didn't ever quite type what was sent down the wire so I know it had problems to begin with.
Maybe you lucked into an...
Great stuff Bunsen... Looks like 2 more apps to look through my archives for.... I just did that all by experimentation and moving things out of the system folders until I got a good internal knowledge of what was what. These apps sure would have made that easier back then. Actually now 15...
I used to use Astarte CD-Copy for years. It was by far the best accurate ripper of the time. But that's pretty much all it did and did that very well.
I've just become an Audion user and it is a very slick app. I can't even believe how I missed it back in the hey day. I was a SoundJam user...
Well, I've run 2+2 configuration for years now. I know it works. Depending on which 3.5 drive is first in the chain though, it could be you blew something on the pass through board.
I've seen that exactly once though and it was when I plugged an AE 3.5" pass through board upside down by...
Just had to type up my many thanks and amazement for Classilla 9.2
I'm writing this up on a P4 3.06 GHZ Hyperthreaded WIn XP Pro Sheepshaver OS 9.04 system :)
The speed of browsing really isn't that bad at all, and just the fact that ethernet works in emulation as well as sound and there's a...
If happen to know the location of 1.07f1 that would be great to find too. I had it back in the day directly from Nathan Mates when I was hanging with "guys" during my college days at Ohio State University.
If there is a 1.08 even which I heard of later on but I can't say I have ever had that...
Well, I've looked and I if I ever had the 1.0.7f1 that was the last known version released it died a miserable death in the great hd crash of Christmas 09.. I lost about 300 Gigs of my collection that day literally 5 mins before my first ever AIT-2 full backup was to kick off. (Even when I try...
:approve:
Well no problem there. For a guy that drove 4 hours each way to pick up a Magi II automation desk with Macintosh II all intact, I can assure you it's going to an Apple Lover
Also for sure backups will be made and imaged. Original software is getting so unbelievably hard to...
Man I need to stay away from this group again..
I just bought that MACPHONE the guy had up on ebay... Expensive but really cool. It also satisfies my vintage Mac collecting bone as well as my odd telephony collecting bone at the same time!
This is going to be awesome to take into work and...
I should have a copy of GUSS somewhere in my collection.. I'll see where that is.. GUSS or GUPP? Wasn't that called Grand Unified Program Patcher or some such by Nathan Mates? Either way I'll look. There was a GUS that was a IIGS emulator as well.
CF on a IIGS is pretty neat. I bought two...
Yeah, get a PC to do this... I did my last pci flash for my B&W now G4 450 machine on a IBM NetVista P4 3.0 ghz machine....
Do pretty much exactly like the guy stated below and you will be fine.
FWIW I am running a NV FX6200 in my box. Yes, just like the 5200 it's only 256 colors in OS9...
OMG - I am already a huge believer in the power of H202 but this makes me want to disassemble and RetroBrite a few soldiers in my collection. I have two of the white ImageWriter II s that should clean up quite nicely. Would love to get the Platinum back on a sentimental IIGS as well.
AWESOME...
The funny thing is that when I went to pick up a recent conquest from Ebay at a guy's place in Indiana, he HAS a WANG mainframe in the industrial surplus warehouse. Plus many other things... I saw some of the Disney Pixar render farm there as well as most of the original CNN AV broadcast booth...
Then there are those new members that come in and post hard, then life hits them HARD.... Then they drift back out, and totally forget to send cd's to people they promised (even after said cd's got redelivered back to me TWICE by the post office)... UnknownK.. That's your stuff.. PM me one more...
Hmm.. Okay, now you need the Digidesign Pro Analog interface for that Sound Accellerator card or the regular half rack unit would do too!!!
The Storm Nubus card is the multi dsp processing card right! I wanted one for years, and when I thought I bought one on ebay, the guy shipped the PCI...
That is awesome! Maybe one day I'll get a newer MessagePad and try that out.
I've got a Newton 2nd rev I think upstairs.. Can wireless anything be done with that? I have the little fax module too, but that's about it.
Could this link be close to what you are looking for? Very interesting article!

For that Apple IIe card keep in mind IIRC you need to run that in 24-bit mode. 32-bit mode won't work. So the IIe card in a LC III may not work since I"m not sure you can run the LC III in 24bit mode.
Something to consider since maybe that's also the reason 6.0.8 won't run on the LCIII too...
Not sure, but I can look up those names on my super secret old set of CDROMS that has all sorts of the old tools on them.
It'll take a bit to get through all 8 cd's searching but it MIGHT be on there.
Wish some luck,
Great info!
It really highlights which apps are dual or even multi-thread aware as well as which apps/codecs are memory and/or io bound instead of cpu bound.
This is the kind of stuff that is so hard to explain to people at work. We just added 9 procs to the Z10 mainframe and only got 15%...
