    MicroMac ThunderCache Pro find

Ouch! You mentioned you've replaced the oscillator - maybe try a 40Mhz one? Might be cheaper than finding a faster CPU - and would be useful to know if that makes any difference?

    MicroMac ThunderCache Pro find

Yes, that's my understanding. I couldn't remember what exactly was on mine, so pulled it out for a pic : As you can see, I too have a 50Mhz FPU, but only a 40Mhz CPU! :cautious: As for stability, I haven't run it in anger, but I do wonder if heat would be an issue since the CPU / FPU would...

    MicroMac ThunderCache Pro find

FWIW, I have a similar one [SIMM sockets are on the same side as the CPU/FPU] that had damage to the "gold labels" on the CPU and FPU - so I pulled them off. Guess what - neither were 50Mhz parts. Shame on you MicroMac!

Does anyone know where I can get 1 MB DRAM Simms, at 150 ns, 30-pin, non-parity, non-composite?

9 chips usually means 'with Parity' and '-60' would mean 60ns parts. Pictures or what you need them for would help.

    Powerbook G3 Pismo seemingly dead?

Bummer. I have had to replace the "power in" (DC jack) board on one of mine. Not sure if this is the exact one, but similar to this :

120V -> 240V Conversion of Classic Analog Board Macintosh 630-0395?

If you are talking about the Macintosh Classic, then, yes, you can change the voltage. I have converted a 240V board to 120V, and the opposite should be possible. I found the artached post in an old newsgroup that I used as a guide.

Better Trackball for Kensington Turbo Mouse

Needs to be American "billiard" size, which is 2 1/4" for the early Kensingtons. American "pool" size is 2" = too small.
