Yikes... Looks like a bad case of simasimac if I ever did see one. :simasimac: This might help as well.

Hope this works for you :beige:
@Scott Baret I wanna see pics of that proto if you can snag 'em! I would loose my mind if I ever got my hands on a Prototype. Coolest Macs in the world if you ask me.
lol Thought I'd ask. I know it sounds dumb but since I'm at work atm, I can't whip out Mactracker and compare speeds. Sorry about the dumb question. :scrambled:
Sounds like fun, I'll just need to get my hands on a good soldering iron. Now another question: would this 450 after OC beat out my Performa 631CD or LC 575?
Hey uniserver, you happen to know if this will work on the Performa 450? It's an LC III clone, so I don't think there would be a reason why not. Thoughts?
@beachycove Hey man, show no fear about your love for the G5 my friend. I've got a Dual 1.8 Ghz G5 that I used for the longest time before retiring it (stashing it in my collection) from service because I needed an Intel Mac for my desktop. It's got 8 GB RAM, 1TB HDD, Bluetooth and Airport...
@magnusfalkirk Dude... You have officially made my day. Soon as I get paid, I'm making this happen! I've seen the CF card for Apple II, but since he hasn't made more of them I have no idea how much they cost... I'd love to get my hands on one though! I'd be able to finally install GS/OS 6...
I've got a copy of Final Cust Pro 4 (last PPC version) that you can use, just stop by my place sometime to install it. BTW you still owe me for trashing my video card on my G5 lol.
I've got an Apple IIGS, and I've been really wanting to game on it, my only problem is my limited software selection. I found a website online that allows you to play Apple II games on an Apple IIe by plugging an iPhone/iPad into the cassette port on it and pressing a key combo on your IIe, then...
I love my Mac SE that I have in my collection. It was the model with the dual 800k floppy drives, but what was really cool was that the previous owner put an aftermarket sled in the back of it and mounted a 60MB HDD inside it. So yeah, instead of having to choose between 2 floppies and FD/HD, I...
I have one of those that I got from user "coius" a while ago. He gave me all the hook-ups for it that he used for his web server. lol Not kidding here: his old PB520 was his WEB SERVER! He erased the HDD before he gave it to me tho, or else I'd have my own server for my own website lol.
Well it wouldn't be a video. It'd most likely be a string of pictures that I would post up. I might post a video of the card in use since I still have a DTV converter box for analog tuners, but the actual unboxing I'd probably just do pictures for.
@Concorde1993: Nah, I found it for like $18 on ebay. Search for it, they have more of them available I think.
@TheMacGuy: Why yes, this is the same card setup that was in the Mac TV. Another thought that I had was taking my junked out LC 575 and turning it into a Mac TV with a little case...
Yeah I think I got a good deal on this iBook, my only complaint is that the Apple logo on the outside monitor case is missing its leaf, but other than that it's perfect!
Funny you mention a 6xxx... This card is officially going into my Power Macintosh 6500 (with Sonnet G3 upgrade) now thanks to...
The battery in it suprisingly works well! I'm in the middle of conditioning it as we speak. Apparently since the iBook had OSX on it before I got it, it would refuse to charge. I threw OS 9 on it and now it's conditioning just fine.
As for the Apple TV/Video System, I actually plan on hooking...
Was bored at work, so I decided to browse on ebay to kill time. Ended up snagging these two: an Indigo iBook, and a Mint-in-box Apple TV/Video system! Pretty stoked to unbox and hook up the card unless you think it's a bad idea? If not, let me know and I'll post pics of the unboxing!
