Change default click button in X.2

Any way to change the default click button in OS X.2?(that is, make the mouse "left-handed") it's hard to find instructions for these old OSs sometimes.

    Reparation old Mac disk

UPDATE: Classsic in OS X does work, so that data is there but something changed in the partition table that makes it unbootable directly.

    Reparation old Mac disk

Well, it half worked, my Mac OS 9 partition is visible from OS X.2 but not Mac OS 8.6 or 9 and I can't boot it(gets stuck at the Happy Mac screen OR worse flashing ? on a floppy). I think Classic works but I don't want the overhead of OS X when running OS 9 apps. Any idea what is wrong?

    Reparation old Mac disk

I can't find my spare flash drives offhand and this one needs to be PC compatible and again I don't want to repartition the drive.

    Reparation old Mac disk

I am now putting programs into Stuffit Archives then I will move these to my flash drive. This will save the resources forks.

    Reparation old Mac disk

Hmm, my Mac seems to reject DVD-Rs. I do have a PC DVD-ROM drive in it and it does read DVD-R them but eject blank discs upon insert. So it this point I don't have a good way of backing the thing up, over then DD images, which I don't want to at the moment. Could I make an HFS+ disk image on...

    Reparation old Mac disk

I don't feel like repartition my 1 TB terrible drive cause that's slightly dangerous, so DVD is the way to go.

    Reparation old Mac disk

The problem is where to put it where it will keep the resource forks intact, it's a 40 GB drive and I don't want OS X.2 badly enough(in terms of my time) to image the whole thing. After I am done working, I'll see if I have DVD burning software on OS 9, I only used about 3 GB so it would fit on...

    Reparation old Mac disk

I only have 1 spare Mac drive and I got it for free from a guy and don't know if it works.  Does Gparted support old Mac drives, if so I would take out the hard drive and repartition it in Linux.

    Reparation old Mac disk

HI  Do you know a way of repartitioning and old Mac disk, Disk Tools on the OS X CD wants to reformat the drive first? I want to run Mac OS 9 and OS X without upgrading and using Classic.  -Jamie

    Read Mac CD-ROMs on Windows

This is different than the networking thing. The networking was to read my Mac's hard disk to maintain it remotely, this is to read the data on Mac CD-ROMs, although the topics do have similarities.  I tried "HFS Explorer" but it did not work.

Software that can connect to a AppleShare file share

Hmm, I bet if I extracted them on my Mac I could play them on my Mac. I'll give that a try next time I am there.

Software that can connect to a AppleShare file share

I have a Windows program called "FMV Extractor" that looks through any kind of file for playable formats, but I don't know anything like that I can run on my Mac.

Software that can connect to a AppleShare file share

I am experimenting to see if I can read the data(videos, sound clips, pictures) in my games on Windows, the modern media tools I have on Windows are better then on my old Macs. So for this to work I need to be able to see the hidden folders.

Software that can connect to a AppleShare file share

Oh good point so SSHd on a Live Linux CD might be better for what I want. (remote diagnostics)

Software that can connect to a AppleShare file share

I think I'll stick with Zip disk and CDs to transfer things to my old Mac. It's new enough that I can probally load a live Linux distro and SSH if I need more direct access to the disk remotely.(which is why I want to do this).

Software that can connect to a AppleShare file share

PCMacLan does not run on Windows 10 and so it's not convenient to use and I don't know how to use NetaTalk(I think it's server) to connect to an AppleShare.
