Yeah, it's not flawless by any means and it's got a few minor scratches. I think the power supply jack is a little touchy too. It's gonna replace my iMac G3 OS X Server.

What about running virtual synths on these Macs? I loaded GarageBand 3 on my Cube and it is so slow it's unusable running multiple tracks. I'd love to use my Pismo, but I think it's way too old for GB3.

I just got back from my latest conquest: A 500 MHz G4 Cube! I guess the guy was desperate for rent money, so he told me if I picked it up tonight, I would get it for $50 instead of $75. It also came with a 15" Studio Display with a broken foot. Sounds like it was just sitting and not getting...

A buddy of mine GAVE me a T42 with docking station a while back! It's a really nice laptop (for a PC--ha ha). I put OSx86 on it and it ran okay, but now I'm running XP and Ubuntu. Sweet.

I bought this dead Mac Plus shell about 10 years ago hoping to make it into a speaker cabinet for my bass. I'm almost done covering it with tolex and figured I'd post a photo. It is pictured with my Hentor bass. Rush fans may get the Hentor reference--if not, check the Grace Under Pressure...
