    Free Newton Batteries!

I just got back from picking up a couple of Newton batteries from a fellow on Craigslist. One is a OMP battery(?) AND wall charger (Apple branded, part number H0017 and H1200 respectively), and the other is a NEW IN BOX MP2000 battery with the tagger still on it (a la Nigel Tufnel)...

    Original iMac

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It is in REALLY good condition considering the age. I may give my daughter my Snow iMac (with its convection goodness) because there is less chance of her breaking something on it (I could see her breaking the CDROM tray or the side door on the Bondi)...

    PowerMac G4 Digital Audio

Sweet! Those G4 towers are pretty solid. My first G4 tower (Gigabit Ethernet) is still going strong at my buddy's house.

Just got back from my latest conquest: an original iMac, complete with keyboard, hockey puck mouse and translucent power cord. Free from Craigslist. It still has the shipping plastic on the foot/kickstand!! Looks like my daughter has a Mac now.

    CH Pro Flight Pedals!

This weekend I picked up a set of USB CH Pro flight pedals in their original box for-- wait for it-- $7, talked down from $10! Also on that flea market run, I got a nice vintage-ish hard camera/video case about 2'x2'x1.5' with foam on the inside for $5! Wheeeee!

    PowerBook 100

Would it restart over and over like that with the wrong system enabler file? I think that happened to me back in the day with my PB160. No SCSI disk mode on PB100's, right?

    ThinkPad 365XD

I know, it's not a Mac, but for $10 it's pretty cool. Pentium, 775MB HDD, 16MB RAM, CD ROM, Win95. Complete with original User's Guide, external floppy drive, 10/100 LAN PCMCIA, 56k MODEM PCMCIA & AC Adapter. I think the battery's dead, but what are you gonna do for $10! I really wasn't...

I love my Pismo 400MHz. It has been one of the most dependable, durable and usable Macs I have ever owned. That and my SE/30.

Apple ][c - can be mine!

I have an opportunity to buy an Apple ][c in its original box, orig. monitor and Image Writer with original OS disks, kids SW that works great and is in good condition for $250 (local guy, original owner who paid $2795 in '86). What say you? Is that a fair price? I've never been into Apple...

Picked up a pair of the AppleDesign Speakers at the local flea market for $10. The guy wouldn't budge on the price, but I thought it was fair. }:) They're in great shape too and not the sunburnt yellow. What price are these usually going for?
