Sonnet tempo HD / Palm / Terminators

Sweet deal. I always thought those Sonnet products were cool, and am surprised they are still in business. Can you swap that HDD out if it is bad?

    Indigo iBook

Here's my iBook cover. Anyone know what brand it is? I'm thinking Kensington for some reason, but don't see any markings on it.

    Not a computer

Sweet! I still have my Pioneer LD player, and all my LD's! I just can't let them go because I know I'd get peanuts for the discs! It's great to pull a movie or concert disc out and watch it. So funny to have to turn the discs over too!

    Indigo iBook

I found a 64MB SODIMM of PC133, and an original Airport Card in my parts drawer. I agree, the Indigo's white shell is purdy. |) Cool site, mcdermd! My wife always tells me I should display my old Apple stuff, but I like your idea better.

    Indigo iBook

I've had this for a few years, and its been sitting in a box in my basement, untouched since I brought it home. I had forgotten about it. The company I was working for at the time had a palette of old CPUs and CRT monitors that were going to the recycle center. Since I was the IT guy for the...

Acquired: LC II and Apple SC CD-ROM

My Father-in-Law had an LCII (my then fiancé, now wife's old one), and the ADB stopped working on it. He insisted I fix it instead of buying a new Mac, so I found another one on eBay for $10 shipped. I swapped out the HD and RAM and it was back to how he wanted it. I love that SC...

    pb 165

http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powerbook/specs/mac_powerbook165.html I had a 160, and it maxed out at 14MB too. I think I had 7.1 on it and it worked great--it was a while ago. On my classic Macs, I don't always run the most recent OS that it supports, because those OSes are sometimes...

    I've completed the set

Nice set! When I worked for a school district in their IT department a few years back, the librarian at one of the schools knew I was an Apple nut, and GAVE me a box full of untouched Newton stuff. I got an MP130 that still had the taggers on it, books, barcode reader, AC adapters, the works...

Sync options in a modern environment

I found a Keyspan USB to Serial adapter brand new in the box at a flea market, and used it and NCX to connect my 2000 to my Mac running 10.6. Since I hadn't used my Newtons in years I forgot about the Y2010 bug, so my date was way off. NCX kept crashing every time I tried to back up, then I...

    eMate does not read flashcard

I have a couple that work on my MP130 and MP2000 but not on my eMate, but I don't remember what kind they are. Here's a good list of card types. Maybe you can identify what kind it is and label it so you don't get it mixed up...

    iMac G4

Sweet! I just picked up a 15", 800MHz iMac G4 with original keyboard, mouse, SPEAKERS, and manual for $25. Gotta love Craigslist! :)

    Intel iMac, 17" C2D

I helped my father in law with an iMac upgrade and transferred all his info (his 5th Mac: LCII, Beige PM G3, Snow iMac G3, Intel iMac, now a 21.5" iMac), and he gave me his old one. :) It's got the vertical line issue, but still usable. I'm going to upgrade the RAM and use it for my...

    Crazy iMac conquest!

Sweet find, too bad it was beat up so badly. I've found a few CRT iMacs for free and are loading them up with kiddie games I've bought from thrift shops. I plan on giving them to my 4 year old daughter's friends. They love to play with her Snow iMac when they come over. I just need some...

    Apple Studio Display (LCD)

Thanks, for the info. It's actually not the DVI version, but the DA-15(?) one, and came with all the other cables attached including the AC adapter lead. I saw a couple different threads about modifying a PB 5300 or even a yo-yo adapter. Sounds promising. I just happen to have a yo-yo...

    Apple Studio Display (LCD)

I just picked up an LCD Studio Display (blue translucent) from the local thrift store. It's pretty dusty, and I have yet to fire it up... A quick search led me to the setup PDF, and it didn't come with a power brick. :disapprove: I was sooo excited to see it that I quickly put it into my...

    Finally- a PISMO!!!

Sweet. I have a 400MHz model and it's easily one of my favorite Macs of all time. The hot-swappable bays, Firewire, USB, PCMCIA, Airport...just a great machine! I recently scored a ZIP drive for mine for $5! EDIT: Zoinks, almost $200 for a G4 upgrade on eVil Bay?!

OMP and Newton MP 130 + extras

I just scored on an OMP and Newton MP 130 with accessories which includes a Newton keyboard, modem, memory card, serial cable, AC adapter and Apple leather cases for each. The guy was really nice and threw in a bunch of stuff I wasn't expecting. Time to update my signature! :b&w:

    Strawberry iMac!

No, Strawberries came out with the other fruit colors in 2 batches (tray & slot loaders), and Rubies came out with Indigos came but they were more translucent. Tow-may-to, tow-mah-to. Strawberry (tray loader) Ruby

    Strawberry iMac!

I was driving my daughter to class and spotted a Strawberry iMac in someone's driveway with a "free" sign attached. Haven't fired it up yet, but it's a slot loader, so if nothing else it can be a parts machine for my daughter's Snow. Sweet (pun intended).
