Best way to make bootable classic OSs CDs from OsX

I found that the safer way to make bootable classic OSs CD is to burn them with Toast on a Mac running Classic OS. In particular I use a fast G3 running Mac OS 9.2.2 and burn good quality CDs at 16x, a good compromise for speed and reliability. Now the questions: are there solutions to burn...

PowerBook 1400c/166 does not boot specific 7.6

Ok, I sorted things out! The problems were the files I had downloaded. With the proper image I could burn the bootable CD from Toast 4.2 on an iBook G9 900! Using good CDRs. How do I write Macintosh CD images to physical CD's?

I am doing some tests using rewritable CDRW, so far none of them is even recognized by older Macs if I make them bootable in Toast, while they work as intended in the Mac that has burned them. Any experience on this?

How do I write Macintosh CD images to physical CD's?

So many variables! On top of that most images in the various repository simply do not work. To make sure I use an iBook G3 at 900 mhz to burn or duplicate classic Systems or MacOSs

PowerBook 1400c/166 does not boot specific 7.6

It digests only 8.0, 8.1, 8.5 and 8.96 didn’t test 9.0 and up because 8.6 is barely usable to my taste, finder is too slow. 8.0, aka 7.7, is probably the way to go.

PowerBook 1400c/166 does not boot specific 7.6

This PB1400c/166 boots fine and installs 8.0, 8.1 and beyond, but I cannot get to boot off 7.6. I also redownloaded all 1400 specific 7.6 from Macintosh garden. I also tried to install a clean install from those CDs after booting off 8.1, but either way the 1400 says that the system os not...

Processor slot loose bad contact CPU

I have an heavily upgraded Power Macintosh 7600 (https://www.ispezioneperugia.it/mac/68k/Power_Macintosh_7600.html), it has served for many years as my daily machine (from 1996 to 2003, up to Mac OS X via XPostFacto) and was then replaced by a G5 in 2003. After a few years in storage I decided...

    Airport on PowerBook 5300ce

I recall, long ago, being able to use Airport on PowerBook 5300ce and a Wavelan lucent (which, being basically an Airport with antenna is recognized by Airport software) by installing the relevant file extracted with TomeViewer. I have now tried with Mac OS 8.6, 9.0 and 9.1 and AP 1.2 and 1.3.1...
