    haha, compusa = fail the only computer stores we have here are localy owned, BestBuy would be the only electronics deticated chain store i've ever seen around here.

    haha, well ATI cards are ok so long as you stay away from the OEM cards and the budget cards ie, Radeon Xpress 200m and the Radeon X1050. Personaly i prefer ATI but when it comes to preformance verses price the 6200 has what i can buy from ATI beat hands down.

    haha cool, i was thinking abotu getting a larger HDD (like 30GB area?) and a Cresendo PBG3 400MHz upgrade for this powerbook, i used the CDROM drive from a dead iMac and put it in the encasement for the dead CDROM drive module and now i have a working 24x CDROM drive on my PB1400 woohoo ^_^...

    i've seen some petitions to apple to make 8.0-8.6.1 free for download like 7.5.5 is, not for 9.0 becasue the transition is still in effect from 9.x to 10

    haha thats what i thought, you should replace it with a third party made cable instaid of the one that comes with the imac to prevent a repeat of the problem.

    also the main reason i located that site was for the System7.1 witch i think runs very smoothly on PB100-150 computers and things like the Classic, classic II and SE/30

    sounds like either the logic borad orthe cable's fault. i had 2 of those iMac cables fail on me (one bursyt into flames :S:S)

    well i did in fact download the rom image from my SE/30 under System 7.1 useing hte program known as CopyROM, also what else would i use? windows 2k? *pukes* or worse vista? *pukes again* Becasue i cant get BasiliskII to boot any classic (68000, 68010, or 68020 roms)
