I used a Sophisticated Circuits PowerKey with my 6100 which brings back the ability to turn on the 6100 with the keyboard power key.

Found another one called EmptyTrashFast that sounds like it does the same thing:

Also, the download link to the control strip called Trash It! noted above has stopped working. Here is another link:

There are a couple of old locked topics where users of the old Calcomp tablets have asked for the drivers. Well after many attempts to find it I happened to stumble upon them today. Here it is if anyone needs it:

I actually tried once to figure out if there is a way to extract files out of an installervise archive the way you can with TomeViewer and Apple installation archives. The short answer is I don't think you can. The long answer is I installed the mindvision software used for creating installation...
Guess the conquest in this auction:

If it is a USB 2.0 card, it probably wont work. You need a true 1.1 card.
Apparantly, 2.0 cards work fine in BW G3 or later models. They also work in Beige G3s but only if it has a $77D.45F1 rom. Anything older requires a USB 1.1 card.
I have got a feeling this has to do with the PCI...
I just remembered that it is possible to overclock these older Sonnet cpu ugrades using a utility called Sonnet Clocker. See http://www.zone6400.com/Sonnet_Clocker.html for more info. This may or may not be a way to get the card to run at its full rated speed on a 30mhz logicboard to avoid...
As the owner of a retired 6100 running a NewerTech 330mhz G3 with a Power Computing HPV card, you will definitely notice a big jump in speed. In the 6100, the HPV card does connect directly to the CPU upgrade card without the need for the Sonnet Video Adapter. However, you do need the right...
Found the following in one of the ati updaters readme which may offer some clues to the issues that have to be overcome when using the xclaim tv with a beige G3:
Apple Video Player and XCLAIM TV-G3
When using the Apple Video Player with XCLAIM TV connected to a G3 system, click on S-VIDEO then...
The cooling kits sold by yourmacstore were from Spirica:
http://www.spirica.jp/products/macitems/wck_md/index.html
Yourmacstore was the only US source for Spirica stuff but I guess they stopped selling the cooling kits. However, you can order directly from Spirica but you first have to contact...
I don't really use my 8500 that much anymore. However, I downloaded your utility just in case I need it in the future and I wanted to make sure the documentation is as complete as possible. Thanks for the added info.
Just an update.
I replaced the original 400mhz cpu in my Sawtooth with a OWC 1.5ghz G4 upgrade (that I downclocked to 1.4ghz). Now it won't let me boot into 8.6 anymore. When I am booted into 9.2.2 and go into the startup disk control panel and choose 8.6 and restart, all I get is a white...
