I know it is off topic kinda but do vga nubus cards go for a lot or was it sarcasm I have never looked at them on ebay so I could not tell? plus I think I have one in the basement.
I guess what I am asking is there an easy way to tell where data+ and data- are? out of 1.mon on 2.gnd 3.lanuch 4.NC 5.gnd 6.+5V 7.fn lanuch I think they ment launch since this is for the launch switch. and I know 6,5,4,2 are not data +/- so its ether turned to usb somewhere else or its most...
I think the inverter could be broke if the bulb was dim if it was under powering the bulb due to it failing. but then again it could be the bulb going, I agree with trying a different inverter then a different bulb, the inverter should be a lot easier to get to then the bulb unless you where...
This is a bit of a story but I will try and make it short. I have a 17" lcd ADC monitor. The usb/brightness keeps going out and it is a common problem, the general consensus is a bad usb hub on the main board, and a used main board with working usb ports, when I put it in Saturday it worked...
Lvds cables are easily damaged if you go to macdan's http://home.comcast.net/~macdan/tibook_display.html website about 2/3 of a way down you can see a close up picture of them and they are described as being like little coax cables. there is also lots of info for taking tibooks screens apart there.
he does not use many batteries in his bigger projects can you imagine how big of a battery it would take to power his xbox 360 laptop. im sure the power supply is external just like the 360 ones he has made. I think he used a main board from a regular keyboard and wired each key individually...
well I decided to throw it on ebay and I got a strange email and figured out what it is, it is a base part that is used to ship replacement parts then they are installed and the defective disk drive guts are re attached to the bottom part and send back to apple.
I think it may be an inverter issue if its related to the back light or possibly the back light is going out like you said, i did not see that you wrote that before I must be tired! anyway apple suggests this for troubleshooting a dim screen.
1 Adjust screen brightness setting.
2 Verify that...
well I installed the new main board and it fixed the usb/brightness issue so now I only have one other issue to fix on my cube finding a single speaker is hard!
does the external dvi work? if it does, My first guess and keep in mind a wild guess, no real proof for me to think it but could be smashed wires in the video cable sorting? if not that it would almost have to be the lcd it self.
ok I knew I read it from somewhere probably when I thought the geforce 2 mx would be the best card. The only thing I will be disappointed in on the 7500 is the fence not lining up. but I should have my monitor back 100% tomorrow I get a working main board to fix the awful failing usb bus issue...
he probably did, the regular out will not work on a tv since most tv's do not have the manual knobs to adjust the picture properly so you get these great flickering screens of nothing.
how hard is it to remove the old heat sink I had seen stories of people breaking there cards getting old ones off. also do you think that I would need to add another fan on the ram above it to help push the air out the video card vent? Or should I just use a different fan just on the ram...
