On a PowerPC 6500/225 with freshly installed OS 8.6. Got a D-Link DFE-530TX+ network card, installed the Mac OS 8.1 -9.2 driver. Really all it was is a file that I had to put in the Extension Folder. But whatever I do, it will not connect. Any suggestions ? Bert

Yes, that was the wrong driver. I found another network card, D-Link DFE-530TX+, installed the driver but it still doesn't work, it doesn't show up under System Profiler, I downloaded the driver and put the extension in the extensions folder. Any other tips ? Bert

Yeah, i had OS 8.6 installed and also bootX which I used to boot up the Ubuntu install CD but now I have to do it over again and leave OS 8.6 on there and then install ubuntu. Bert
